Neo Thread | PDO Screw Tornado
The NeoGenesis Tornado Screw PDO threads consist of two subtly twisted Mono threads, resembling a loosely braided strand. To enhance their effect, the threads are additionally wound spirally around the needle. This technology creates a double-screw effect during insertion, effectively increasing stimulation of collagen synthesis. Tornado Screw threads are used in procedures similarly to Mono and Screw threads where strong tissue stimulation is desired. They are the most rigid type of thread designed for wrinkle smoothing and can also provide a lifting effect.
NeoGenesis Tornado Screw threads can be used to effectively smooth dynamic wrinkles as part of muscle-relaxation procedures in areas where a particularly strong tissue response is desired, such as the glabellar region.
PDO threads are designed for aesthetic procedures involving skin revitalisation, facial contouring, wrinkle reduction, and non-surgical lifting of the face and body. They are made of polydioxanone (PDO), a fully biocompatible and bioabsorbable material that has been used in surgery for more than 20 years. PDO threads are based on suture materials used in cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and ophthalmology. Manufactured to the highest standards, they meet stringent requirements for biocompatibility, purity, and quality. Sterile and pre-loaded onto a needle, they are ready for immediate use after removal from the sterile packaging.
NeoGenesis threads are manufactured in South Korea. They are Class III medical devices and hold the highest-level safety certification issued by the KFDA, as well as a CE certification permitting their use within the European Union.
