Radiesse® is a new generation of facial filling products that combines volumizing effect with strong stimulation of lost collagen regeneration. The unique composition of Radiesse® immediately improves facial features comparable to other fillers. The product is made up of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) particles suspended in a gel matrix, which creates a kind of scaffold in areas requiring volumetry. On this scaffold, hydroxyapatite stimulates fibroblasts to create new collagen, so the effects of skin densification, wrinkle smoothing and facial feature filling persist, even though the gel matrix forming the product is completely absorbed after serving its purpose. In its place, newly produced collagen will remain.
