Supartz

Supartz is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, highly purified solution of high-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate of avian origin. The product is intended for intra-articular administration.

Indications:
Supartz is indicated for the relief of pain and joint stiffness associated with osteoarthritis of the knee and periarthritis of the shoulder. Sodium hyaluronate supports the lubricating function of synovial fluid and helps protect the articular surfaces.

Administration:
The recommended treatment regimen consists of 5 intra-articular injections administered at weekly intervals, according to the physician’s assessment and the patient’s clinical condition. The product should only be administered by a physician experienced in performing intra-articular injections.

Important Information:
The product is intended for single use only. Do not administer intravenously or use ophthalmically. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or if the product has passed its expiry date.
